Shiloh Baptist Church is committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in order to show His love to others. Shiloh supports missions and ministries in our local community, throughout our state, our nation, and the world. We are affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention; and serve Wilson County. Our church currently assists Green Hills High School and Springdale Elementary, both teachers and students. To help our local community in need, we have a Blessing Box on church property to provide food and toiletry items. Supporting CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ), we provide a scholarship for an intern at UT Chattanooga, and provided funds for Bibles for their global ministry. We also support the local Pregnancy Care Center. During the holiday season, Shiloh participates in Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child. We are continually looking for additional ways to share God’s blessing and would love to have you join our Mission Team if you are interested. Please click the button below to contact us.
Our Blessing Box is completed on the church property and ready for donations. We have a drop-off donation box on the breezeway swing at our church property as well as a drop off box to the right of our worship team on Sunday morning worship. A member stated this project well “When we minister to people’s immediate needs, we are Jesus to them, even if they do not personally know Him”. We appreciate your help in reaching out to those in our community who need our service.
Please note all items must be non-perishable and in non-glass containers. We cannot use items that have passed their expiration or best used by dates.
Because of the limited size of storage and the size of the Blessing Box, regular size items (versus huge family size items) work best.
Ukraine Relief
Our church financially supports a local Romanian church as they seek to provide relief for Ukrainian refugees. This relief includes food, housing, utilities, transportation and Christian literature. They have at least forty refugees at any given time. 100% of the funds we send to this church goes directly to providing relief to Ukrainian refugees. To give, visit our online giving page and select “missions” from the drop down menu. Click below to see pictures of the assistance provided!
