We are so glad you're here!
When you come to where Shiloh Baptist Church meets at 6434 John Hagar Rd, you will turn onto a gravel road that leads to a metal gate. To your left, before the gate, you will see our Welcome team ready to give you a bulletin and answer any questions you may have about the church.
You'll drive through the gate and either park in the front or the rear of the Missions Mobilization Center (or the MMC as we call it). This building is owned by the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board. They have graciously allowed our church to meet here on Sunday's and Wednesdays.
Find a parking spot, and then walk to the breezeway located in between the two metal buildings. There, you will see more of our Welcome team ready with a smile and a "hello!" They will direct you to the main worship area.
You will walk through the double doors and there you will see the restrooms to your right and ANOTHER member of the Welcome team. This welcomer will have some of our church info if you would like to take them.
You'll then go through another set of double doors and enter the warehouse. This is where our church meets for Sunday morning worship. Straight ahead, to the back right, there'll be a coffee and donut station. During the summer time we will also have cold waters.
After grabbing a snack, find you a seat wherever you'd like. Our service will begin soon!
In our morning worship services, you can expect music, announcements, baptisms, and preaching.
After the service, there will be a time of invitation and response.
Once we're dismissed, please try and speak with one of our pastors. They will definitely want to meet you.
Again, we are so happy you chose to join us. We are not perfect, but we do love our Lord Jesus Christ, and we would love for you to join our church.
Here's some FAQs for you!
What kind of worship music does Shiloh have? Our music styles are as diverse as our people. Shiloh uses a blended style of worship that includes classic hymns and more contemporary choruses and modern worship songs. We use a piano, guitars, handbells and other instruments to enhance the worship experience. Our goal is to praise God and glorify Him through our music, regardless of style.
What should I wear? We care about you, not what you are wearing…and we want you to feel welcome just as you are! Shiloh does not have a dress code. Attire ranges from suits and nice dresses to business causal to jeans and t-shirts.
Can I have my child in church? Of course. An extended session is offered for young preschoolers, but families are encouraged to have their children worship with them if they desire. A “crying room” for babies is available right outside the sanctuary if needed.
